This Ductless Downdraft Vent Kit is a decorative unit that can be used when venting to the outside is either not possible or not desirable in the kitchen. The kit contains a filter housing that attaches to the blower under the unit; the filter cleans the air before it re-enters the home. This is an accessory that can be used with several brands; check to see if your cooktop s model number is compatible. Size: 31" L x 20" W x 7-1/2" H. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools and novice repair experience. Remember to turn off the appropriate circuit breaker before installing this part. Helpful Tip: For optimum performance of your vent, change the filter (item W10800530) every 6 months or when a loss of airflow can be detected.
