The body of this grill isn't the only part that will stand the test of time. The Stainless Steel WAVE™ Rod Cooking Grids retain heat for long periods of time providing even heating while grilling, as well as our iconic sear marks. Over time they will naturally patina, creating a protective coating. This prevents corosion and creates a partially nonstick surface for your food, although it needs a little help. (BR)(BR)If the durable body and stainless steel cooking grids weren't enough, the Prestige® P500-K-2 Gas Grill has staggered sear plates made from premium stainless steel as well.
