Great for when a couple of small things need done. We usually leave lid open for awhile after to dry since we may not use it for another week or two. Would not pay full retail for it but when priced lower as a package deal like when we got it then it is worth it.

I really like the pedestal washer I always thought it would be ok to have but I am extremely surprised just how much I love it. I can use it at the same time as the main washer for those small loads we all have that we dont want to mix with other items. It keeps those separate and by doing two loads at once cuts time down.it also means you can run the dryer once instead of twice

I have been using the sidekick washer for about 5 months. It is great for when you have a small load to wash. I use it and the large washer at the same time. Small load in the sidekick and large load in the large washer. It makes the washing go a lot faster.

I was pumped to have a smaller load option when I purchased this item. I was newly single and thought it would be a great option to save water and be able to do smaller loads of laundry or quickly take care of an accidental spill etc. The good is that you can use this wash bin at the same time as the regular thats neat. Im disappointed that the cycle times cant be controlled so there is no quick wash option. Every cycle is 30+ minutes. The larger washer has a quick wash thats done in 15 minutes. Yes this is a nitpick. I purchased this extra for convenience but without a quick cycle or ability to control the pedestal cycle wash time I wouldnt buy again.

I bought this a little less than one month ago. Very nice to be able to run small loads especially with a small child. We often have to do a quick load due to spills. I was a little dissapointed that there is no hot water option. Had it had a hot water option I would have given it 5 stars.

Ive had the sidekick for 6 months now. I wanted to be able to wash everything from a comforter in my big machine to face masks in the side kick lets do it all at home and it does My only problem was the sidekick did not come with the soap measurement container mentioned in the manual. I called customer service and they wouldnt help me thats why the 4 stars. Im guessing on soap measurements every time I use it. Machine works great and I love it customer service skills could use a refresh.

I bought it several months ago and Im glad I did. There are some things that the front load will not do well e.g. if you soak towels or rags to get the heavy stains out and put them into a front load machine it will take a long time till it can handle the weight but the sidekick has no problem with it. And it washes well in a short time.

I purchased this washer directly from the LG website because they offered from installation. I waited 6 weeks for their installation company to finally schedule the delivery and installation. The installation company just left and told me they dont do installations. Im left with a huge box with a washer inside.

I bought this when I did a remodel in my house and read all the reviews. Many people complained about it filling with water but I was talked into getting it. This is a horribly designed product. Ive had my installer out and then LG was out. The repair guy was incredibly rude. Admitted that people complained about this issue and said LG hasnt addressed it. when I run my regular washer the side kick fills with water. His solution was leave it open so it doesnt get moldy. That defeats the purpose to have this open in the middle of my laundry room. Buyer beware

I think I like this sidekick a little more than the main washer. I almost didnt buy it but So glad I did. I cant believe how often I use it. It cleans really well perhaps better than the main washer. Its great if you forget to put something in the main washer or for random color clothes that dont go in your main load. I find myself sorting clothes better and using the little washer for delicates and hand wash. No you cant use it for bleach or hot cycles and there is no automatic fabric softener dispenser but that doesnt bother me as its real easy to open the door and put it in when it chimes. I find laundry is so much faster with this set. If you are on the fence go for it you wont regret it but wait for a sale or buy the bundle on sale at Costco. This review if for the 29 model WD200C. Also when using the rubber detergent cup flip it upside down for liquid detergent.

I bought this in May of 2017. I was reluctant to spend the money but I loved having it until it stopped working in August 2018 just after the 1-year warranty expired. The thermostat is faulty which requires a service tech except not every place will service this small washer. Then I noticed that the stainless steel tub is rusting. I am really disappointed that LG wont replace the tub they said only if it cracks. I do love the functionality of the small washer I was using it almost every day for delicates workout clothes etc. However I am not sure I want to spend the spend the money to have a service tech fix a washer with a rusty tub.
