I bought this refrigerator in 2022 and have been happy with everything except the craft ice maker. I wish there had been the option of the second ice maker producing regular cubes instead of the craft ice.

Bought my LG refrigerator last 40 days ago. The problem i encounter was the ice maker at the back of the door. It stop making ice. The first tech did really know how to solve the problem. Yhe next day i called this tech showed me how to reset it. And also walk me thru on resetting also the 2d ice maker located at the first top section of the refrigerator. I turned it off because the round ice was too big. I guess it will be ok if i have a lot of guest but theres only two of us in the household. We really like the spacious design. It really works good for us. I also bought the 3 year extended warranty. The refrigerator really works good and temp is working pretty good. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

Left door closes to hard. Dont place glass bottles in door bins since they may break as they bang against each other. Additionally ice maker on the left door has a tendency to stop working as the ice in the bin freezes together and blocks the mechanism. Try to use the left door as little as possisble. I think the warm air when the door is open causes the cubes to melt slightly each time the door is open and therefore the cubes melt together. I like the craft ice maker eventhough it only makes 3or 6 balls a day. I dont use very much ice. I also like the wide shelves inside and the one that can be adjusted for tall items.

I purchased this a few weeks ago. So far I am happy with it. The only thing I would change is the bottom drawer in the refrigerator section you have to open both doors to open drawer.

Craft ice maker stopped working within a month. Still waiting for replacement part. Almost 3 weeks since I spoke to someone who said a part will be coming. I like the fridge alot but would like a working craft ice maker again.

I am enjoying my refrigerator. The double ice makers should BOTH make cubed ice one only makes craft ice and the vegetable bin should not be wider than the door opening. I have to open both doors to get anything about of my crisper. I do like to lighting. The door ice maker could be a little bigger but I understand why it is not.

Big disappointment In Oct I had to get 3 refrigerators #1 this LGthe icemaker in the drawer never worked #2 this LG Yeah I got ice for 5 days the icemaker in drawer had sprayed and there was ice on sides of drawer. The entire unit in the drawer was a solid block of ice Called LG customer service and their advice was unplugthaw put and start over NOT #3 was another brand from another store do you know what a pain it is to empty out your fridge/freezer and try to find a place to put everything then put it back..times 3

Love the space in fridge. Love the color and style. There needs to be a light in the bottom freezer and the bottom ice maker should DEFINITELY make cubed ice also and not just craft ice. The description of the fridge should state that the bottom ice maker ONLY makes craft ice. That was a big surprise.

The fridge was delivered with a dent in the door. The delivery agent said that Home Depot would order a replacement door. A year later and many conversations with multiple people at Home Depot and that never happened. I finally gave up as I dont have the time to constantly hound a company to do what is right. Wont be buying a large appliance there again. The fridge works as it is supposed to. The craft ice maker started failing after a few months and the LG app told me there was a problem. Customer Service at LG was awesome and ordered me a new craft ice maker which I installed myself. I am a little worried that it may fail again just passed the warranty.

This unit seems a tad less stronger constructed as say a Kitchen Aide frig. The craft ice maker was hard to understand the functionality of it. IE- the manual was very vaguely written in how it operates. I had to hear how this thing makes ice from a Warranty guy.

We have had our LG refrigerator for about three weeks now and it is working very well. It has taken awhile to get use to the Craft Ice maker but once it got started it is making the cubes on a regular basis.
My one issue has to do the lack of illumination on the door control panel. Our earlier refrigerator had backlighting that would come on when activated and light the areas such as ice water etc.
The LG panel is very dark and difficult to see which options you are attempting to use. I could continue with the issues this has caused to date but will just leave it at this for now.

I have had mine a month. No issues. Didnt realize that it had Wi-Fi features when I bought it. Kinda handy. It has door open alerts etc. Can adjust temps. and ice production.

Good and Bad review: I purchased the LRMXS2806S because of the double freezer drawers and they do make the freezer more functional by having often used items available in the top freezer drawer keeping items in the lower drawer secure. My disappointment is with the lack of temperature regulation of the refrigerator. The refrigerator is colder than the set temperature and areas of the fridge vary in temperature. The lower tray gets near freezing no matter what temperature is set. so I cannot store leafy vegetables there. I contacted LG customer service but unfortunately the unit was no longer under warranty due to the unit not being installed until after a delayed kitchen remodel. I found that if I run the freezer at a higher temp the fridge temp is also affected. right now I have the freezer set at 4 degrees and the fridge at 41 degrees but I still have to store leafy vegetables in the body of the refrigerator. I am functioning with this workaround but I am hoping LG customer service sees this review and authorizes a warranty inspection to determine if this unit is defective.

Purchased this ASAP because our refrigerator died. I should have purchased black and not stainless steel. I did not realize just how shiny is and how it reflects lights. When you are in the store you are in an isle of refrigerators with no reflective lighting. It reflects the lighting in our kitchen and it looks like our frig is open. Also shows fingerprints. I had brushed stainless prior I loved it. Also I should have purchased a refrigerator without the craft ice. There is no separate shut-off for this feature. /Also the regular ice feature makes limited ice at a time. It seems I get one glass and then must wait a few hours for the next batch.

I did not think long enough about this purchase. Refrigerator died and had to replace ASAP First of all I did not realize how shiny the stainless steel is. I previously had brushed stainless. It was not that obvious in the store because you are walking down a aisle of refrigerators and there is no reflection of light. In my home kitchen it reflects the lights above my island and it looks like the refrigerator is open. Also I do not like that the craft ice does not have a separate off control. Plus the storage capacity of regular ice is very small. I take 1 glass and have to wait a few hours if I want more. Bottom line I would have purchaseed black and no craft ice.

Great Refrigerator except for the Craft Ice maker which seems to die annually. So far LG has been great and sends out someone with a new Craft Ice maker each time even though it is technically out of warranty. We love the craft ice. Too bad they cant seem to fix whatever design flaw the maker has.

I really love my new LG french door refrigerator and I like the craft ice also. Interesting that it only makes 3 ice balls a day but whatever they fit perfectly in my water bottle. There is so much more usable space compared to my old side by side. Much better in door storage also. The only issue I have is that even after multiple water pitchers dumped the wat er still tastes weird.

This refrigerator has worked well s ince we purchased it a year ago. We had one problem with ice forming in the bottom frezzer door but the technician that came out fixed it with no problems since. The wifi has stopped working and there is no online help to correct it. That is why I only give it four 4 stars

So far the refrigerator is great. Nice features and a lot of room. Had a bit of an issue with the installation but that was the fault of the installers not the refrigerator. The only thing I miss is the ability to monitor the current internal temperature like our previous model had.

We have only had the refrigerator for two weeks sowe cant comment on the long term. We are however happy with it so far. The styling and features are great and it chills whatever we put in it. We love our new LG fridge. Coming from a side by side we feel like we have endless refridgerator space. No more rearranging everything just to slide in leftovers. We are enjoying the craft ice more than we thought we would. The only negatives are... there is no light in the bottom freezer drawer and the plastic gear on the top freezer drawer grinds as you open and close. We had a tech come out and and fidget with it but it still does not pull out smoothly.

We recently purchased the LRMXS2806S refrigerator and ran several gallons of water through the cold water spout and emptied the ice maker several times. Our domestic water supply is near the top in the country for taste but out of the refrigerator both the water and ice have a very unpleasant metallic taste. Our Sub Zero and our now defunct Kitchen-Aid supploed great tasting water. We are using the supplied LG filter and keep hoping for better tasting water.
Is it possible to BYPASS the filter?
Will third party filters also produce the same bad taste?

Ive been really happy overall with this fridge. Lots of room great features filters are easy to change and the app works properly without a bunch of glitches. The craft ice feature is fantastic when it works. Thats the only knock on an otherwise great fridge. The craft ice unit has been replaced twice in 18 months but in fairness to LG theyve handled both repairs quickly and without hesitation. Its an imperfect world and things break but as long as the company stands behind the product I can live with that. I couldnt have asked for better treatment from customer service both on the phone and via the chat.

Ive owned this fridge for almost two years. For the first year it worked perfectly. The layout is very functional and accommodates a variety of items and all of the features worked as expected. We chose this higher end fridge for the craft ice maker which was a great feature...while it worked.
Then we started noticing some issues. At just over 12 months the craft ice maker completely stopped working and was not covered by warranty. After replacing it it failed again after less than 6 months. At this p
Additionally the main ice maker in the fridge door regularly freezes solid. This happens any time we dont use the ice dispenser for a few days. Thankfully its easy to correct by removing the container and knocking the ice out but this is a fundamental functionality of the fridge which does not work.
I do not recommend this product given both ice makers have significant issues which is a dealbreaker for an appliance of this price.
