Fan is no good

I bought one of these through Home Depot, and turned it over to my builder to install. Fan doesn't run, but motor hums indicating it is trying to run. Closer examination showed that plastic fan blades are sticking in plastic housing. One month and four calls to Whirlpool have not resolved problem. I gave Design and Performance 1 star, only because they don't have a Zero Rating.
