Gentle on clothes

The washer and dryer are gentle on clothes, but don't always seem to get the stains out like our last maytag.

The worst appliance purchase I've ever made...

I purchased this washing machine blindly as I've always had Maytag washing machines and have always been happy. I figured this top of the line product would not disappoint. Boy, was I wrong... The only smart thing I did was purchase the extended warranty! I've used it and will continue to use it, I am certain of that! I've had the service person out 5 times now for everything from the rubber liner growing black mold to the hose getting blocked twice to the door latch having to be replaced to the machine not draining properly. And... nothing is an "easy" fix and I always have to wait much too long for parts sometimes going more than a week at a time waiting for parts. Total nightmare with a large family of 6! I will NEVER purchase another maytag product again and warn everyone not to even consider a front load washer.

Not worth the money

This machine does not get clothes as clean as our old whirlpool. Additionally, without any rhyme or reason it gives us an Error code sometimes in the middle of a cycle. Since it doesn't always do this it's hard to make a repair call.

At first I worried that the large size would be a problem as we are only two people, but Local Store, Hamai Appliance, Susan, told me that this is the perfect Washer for all of my needs. Very Very True. Quiet is very important and it is very steady on the floor. No Washer walking around.

We purchased this model washer about a month ago, and it is working perfectly. Love the multiple options on water hardness, soil level, spin cycle, temperature. This is an excellent matchine and I recommend it to all. we replaced only the washer and this unit stacks nicely under our old Maytag drier.
