I bought this for my new home and moved in August of 2016. So far, we have never been able to get our clothes as clean as our old LG washer did. The cycle completes with the clothes still soaking wet. The matching dryer is mediocre at best when compared to our old LG dryer. I bought the LG pair as the middle of the line models with the knowledge that I would be moving within 5 years, and did not want to move the pair to the new home. The Maytag's soap dispenser is probably the most epic failure we have seen. If you put in a full load of clothes, it uses maybe 3ml. of detergent and the water is never hot even when selecting hot water and or the Steam feature. Had complained to the store, and they called Maytag for a service call. All the service man was able to tell me is that he ran the diagnostics, and it indicates that the machine is operating to the design specifications. That tells me the design specifications were obviously the problem, and some engineer who designed it managed to get it passed their bosses at Maytag/Whirlpool. If I tried to pass this type of work to my superiors, I would be shown the door out!

I bought this a year ago because of it's size. I love the fact that it fits so many clothes at once. However, I did notice that it does clean my white table cloths as much as it should. I've had to throw 2 of them away because the stains don't come off, which is odd because I've had these table cloths for 18 years. I'm not sure what's up with that. Everything else is great.

Overall very happy with the front loader. Able to wash large cycles within short time frames. I actually like that the machine makes noises when buttons are pressed and the chimes it makes when it's done as it alerts you if you were to accidentally touch a button/turn it on.The sensor also does a good job in adjusting timing based on the size of the load.The only issue so far is the soap dispenser area - when taken out, shows large black spots towards the back of the machine. I couldn't figure out why this was happening. We called Maytag and they gave us a solution to clean and it hasn't yet to return. But thought that was strange.Otherwise, clothes are clean and come out near dry which makes us use our dryer less.

I have bought this washer, along with its matching dryer a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! It runs quietly and has a cute chime when the wash is done. The washer has some amazing features that gets even my husband's work clothes clean!! We bought this set after my dryer went from my last Maytag set....which had lasted 14 years without any trouble. I have 3 done and multiple loads of laundry is done in my home every single day. I love Maytag!

Haven't used the "steam" feature yet, but all the others are great! The load capacity, the automatic detergent dispenser are wonderful. The clothes are really clean and obviously well rinsed because they dry so very soft without softener!

This is the third Maytag purchase I have made over the last 30+ years, and I have no regrets. The first Maytag was a 22 year old second hand washer that served me through the early years of my 3 children and cloth diapers. My second Maytag purchase was my first brand new set that I would still have today, but I sold it with the sale of my home. Now on my third Maytag purchase of a brand new set that I expect to pass on to one of my children. Over 30 years and only 2 service calls! That's performance and dependability.

This machine is a replacement for a maytag machine that was not able to be repaired. I was disappointed to have to buy a new one because I really liked the previous machine. However I am glad things worked as they did because this new one cleans better, has great features and I have used them all.. My hope is that the life of this one will be more than 7 years.

I'm very happy with this machine. It saves me a lot of time with my laundry as it spins so much more water out of the clothes than my old top loading machine. It's got a delicate load which is very gentle on the clothes. One thing is that they are slightly deeper than my old machines and so they make my laundry room quite tight to work in now. The sound is great for when the load is finished, just can be a pain if you bump it at night and trying to be quiet while the kids are asleep (near their rooms) Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this a couple months ago and am basically happy with the performance. However, I do not like the way the detergent/softener dispenser fills up with water and needs to be dumped after every load. Also, you have to be very careful not to fill the softener dispenser too full or it runs out all over the floor. As far as the cleaning of the cloths, I have no complaints but these little things make it a little disappointing.

The detergent does not get supplied into the machine - it all stays in the dispenser. When requested the warranty repair we were told that certain parts need to be ordered. The technician recommended to use Tide and told us everything works just fine. However, the laundry does not get properly washed-still.

I love the Hold Fresh cycle because it helps solve the moisture/mildew problem, and it even has an overnight wash cycle that gets a very small load close to dry. The special Bedding cycle decreases wrinkling, eliminates twisting that causes clothes or pillow cases to become trapped inside fitted sheets. I love not having to guess how much detergent to use for each load. Also, I'm using much less fabric softener without losing softness or adding static electricity. It takes less time to dry, as well because of the optional higher spin speed.

Reading bad reviews about all kinds of front load wash machines I was afraid to switch from my old top load. I have 3 dogs and several cats so wash a ton of clothes and blankets weekly. I am amazed. This has a certified allergy setting, extra hot for very dirty things, and I do my work clothes on delicate without any issues. My blankets have never been so clean. I love it.

I read every review out there, looked at consumer reports, etc. and decided on this washer/dryer set. The washer is really, really hard on clothes. And even on the lowest spin cycle it mangled all the clothes into a twist that even the dryer with steam cannot get out all those wrinkles. I hate it. It's made me go to ironing everything which makes laundry a bigger chore than before. I wish I had read an honest review out there!!!It sounds like an airplane taking off when you're on the inside of the plane sometimes during the cycle but the rest of the cycle isn't that loud.It does hold a lot of clothes and will clean ANYTHING off of them. Again, it's so hard on the clothes.

Purchased my washer and dryer set on Black Friday so have not really used a lot nor have I been able to try all of the available settings. My use of the washer has been great so far, no issues other than my getting use to its usage of water, is amazing! I had to get a flashlight to peer into the window during my first use to make sure it was actually washing using water! Smile - it was and cleaned the items exceptionally well.
