Replaced a old 24" gas built in oven. This is a lot bigger inside. Cooks very even and was an easy installation. Great looking stainless steel finish

We have been using the oven for only a month and we are ecstatic. The recommended cooking times on various food packaging are now correct! Our poor old oven was dying and you could never really know how much longer it needed to finish a cooking chore. Now this easy to program and use Precision Cooking oven is just perfect. Easy to wipe clean as well! Once the cooking chore is done and the oven is turned off the internal fan remains on to cool off the oven. At first we thought the oven wasn't shutting off but the manual explained how it works. Some might consider the fan a little noisy.NOTE: There is a 'burn-in time' mentioned in the manual for strong smells during first few uses of the oven. These did occur and almost smelled like something was burning but soon went away after several uses. We needed the warning so as not to panic when we first used the oven and it was in the manual. Good job on providing that info!

Bought recently... Bakes well, looks nice and the only thing that I will have to get used to , is that the fan runs constantly as you bake/broil.. Apparently a safety feature.

The oven itself works great - even if the fan is a bit noisy. The timer beeps once a minute and is very soft - I miss hearing it most of the time.When it was delivered they measured to be sure it would fit in the space and the body of the oven does fit in the space. But the face of it doesn't. We'll have to hire a carpenter to cut it to fit. Not sure how that is going to work. I think that should have been checked when they measured.

Seems much larger inside and window is larger too. Installation was easy and fit easily into existing opening for other 27" oven. Fun to learn how all systems work...so different!

I had this oven installed recently and didn't even bother hooking it up because when I tested how the door operates I was very unhappy. I go to open the door slightly and it just falls open and it even bounces when it hits the bottom.I can't believe a wall oven would operate like that having no resistance to the door. I can only imagine my kid running under and the door just falling on her head as I'm cooking. I've had service people come out to put in new hinges and it did nothing but make the door squeaky. I have been on the phone with Maytag, the service people and the store I purchased it and I just keep getting the run-around.I am so surprised by the number of 5 star reviews. I would not recommend this oven.

I am disappointed in how long it takes to preheat. I could also do without the prompts to tell me to put my food in after the preheat is finished. The oven is also very noisy. I tried baking using the suggested splitting of racks and that failed miserably. The food on the bottom rack did not get done at all the the food on the top rack was only about half done. However, baking with one rack in the middle works fine.

I had this installed a couple of weeks ago and it makes too much noise. A maytag person came out and that was the way it is. I have never heard a noisy oven before. I would never buy another. I would like my money back.

I really like the oven but did not think the fan would be so loud. Stays on the whole baking time not only during preheat. Also stays on a long time while cooling down after baking is complete and cancelled out. It does bake well but disappointed with noise.

With my old oven, I had to decrease the temperature 25 degrees and the time by five minutes when I used a recipe. It is nice to have an accurate oven that follows more closely to my recipe instructions. I was not expecting the oven to be so loud with the fan blowing. I have never used an oven that made noise.

Have had this oven for about 3 weeks and overall very pleased with the installation process and function. Only compliant is with the prolonged fan operation after turning the oven off. Must be necessary to complete the cooling off period.

I had bought a Whirlpool oven a couple of months ago. I had so many problems with it. I know it was just a fluke because I always liked Whirlpool products and no problems. They took the oven back and I purchased a magtag, associated with Whirlpool. This one works perfectly. It preheats in 10 minutes and works like it should.

This oven has a short depth, 24 inches. Very crucial for the space I had to work with. It fit perfectly and has been performing as expected. I like that the racks can stay in during cleaning.

The exterior design is really nice. I like the door handle as well as I can easily hang the kitchen towel. And the big window in the door lets me see in much easier than the smaller door windows and keeps the heat in as I'm not opening the door as often. Also its easy to clean. Love it,

I am happy with the oven so far. It seems very solidly built , and the larger window is a plus. The customizations are ample, regarding tones and temp adjustments, etc. The fan is more noticeable than my prior oven, but not aggravatingly so. The pre-heat tone goes off well before the temperature has reached the entered temp, but I'm not sure if that's intentional or not. I just wait until my thermometer reaches the actual temperature before adding my dish. Adjustable broil temp is also a big plus to me, a definite upgrade from my prior oven. Have not had a chance to run the cleaning cycles yet, but with the hidden lower element I will probably use that less than I did with prior oven, which is also a plus, since I can wipe out any mishaps easily before it gets to be a huge issue. The extra slide out support for the lower rack is also a definite upgrade from my prior oven.

Bought this right before Thanksgiving when the exposed element in my oven burnt up. Scary! Love that the element in this is concealed under the bottom of the oven. I especially love that the bottom shelf is made to extent fully without drooping. Great for that Big Turkey.

Maytag has never been synonomous with ovens but definitely with Quality. My experience with my new Maytag oven has exceeded my expectations. The ease of operation and yet precision cooking is pure joy. I had to get use to the fan running both during the preheat and the cooling periods but this no longer bothers me. I love the smooth opening door as well.

Happy with this product after only three weeks of use. The hidden bake element requires more time to heat and hence higher energy costs. Like the large window and the 10 year warranty. Unfamiliar with the running fan throughout baking and as it cools, but am getting used to it. No, it is not a convection oven.

The oven cooks well. It is much bigger inside than my old oven, which is great. The only downside is the noise. The fan runs from when you turn the oven on until the oven has cooled back down and is semi-noisy.
