ENAMEL PEELING

chipping and cracking 1/9/2018

I purchased an entire Kitchenaid package in 2008 for a new home. In 2013 I noticed that the enamel on the bottom of the ovens was peeling, but I didn't call for service until 2014. The service company verified that the oven coating was defective "chipping and cracking" but Kitchenaid would not honor that warranty. This oven is in a third home with no kids and has had very moderate use. I will never buy this brand again. I just built another home and used Thermador.
