Our older Frigidaire dehumidifiers lasted about a decade each. This model got the EC error code after one season.Its warranty replacement got the same error code during this season. The refrigerant leaked into the water collection bucket. We've been told it is unrepairable. I've tried all of the suggestions that Frigidaire told me over the phone. This poor quality is inexcusable. My basement has been at 65 to 70 percent humidity since it stopped working last month. My $380.00 has been thrown away. I'm very unhappy.

Frigidaire's service is TERRIBLE. I bought this unit in late July of 2022; a year and 3 weeks later it has experienced a total malfunction. Customer service people tell me the error code indicates a "sealed system error", nothing that can be re-set or corrected by me. They also say that because the unit is about three weeks past its one year delivery date, there is absolutely NOTHING that Frigidaire can or will do for me. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

DO NOT PURCHASE! I purchased a unit that failed with an EC Code. They replaced once and it failed again. They won't replace again even though 3 different agents told me one was being sent. They lied for 2 months. Google EC Error Codes on this unit and you will see that they have a major issue with their de-humidifiers.

I purchased this device to reduce the humidity in my home. I have it set up adjacent to a return air duct on my heat pump effectively conditioning both floors of my 2 storey home. I have directed the effluent to the same effluent pump serving my heat pump. With the auto on/off feature, I am able to maintain a comfortable humidity throughout the summer months.

Easy to set up, new app 1000% times better than the old one (actually connects, let's you log in, doesn't freeze, functions like it should), we have ours on auto and it works just like it should perfectly. Love the smart functions, even paired it with Alexa. Only thing I would change is being able to set the auto target humidity level from the app (can only do this on the machine)

These $300 dehumidifiers last months and then stop working. One unit continues to run but does not pull any water out of the air so it appears the cooling system is busted. That took 1 year to happen. I bought a replacement. That lasted 2 months and now turns itself on and of randomly by itself. The quality of this brand is poor. And the customer service line is very slow to use and totally unhelpful. Stay away.

I purchased this 50 pint dehumidifier from Frigidaire based on many high quality reviews compared to other brands of the same size. This unit is an absolute beast and very efficiently pulls moisture from the air. In a small humid room, this unit impressed me by just having to run for what seems like a minute before it reached the desired 50% humidity level. The Wi-Fi feature actually works great, I was a bit hesitant with some reviews but in my personal experience it has been great and I've made multiple adjustments within a short period of time using the app without having any issues of freezing or not recognizing the changes. The app is great and I really enjoy being able to use it easily. This model also comes with an air ion purifier and I personally think it is a great touch for a room based dehumidifier, however they have an option in the app to turn off the air purifier function. Also I would like to add how beautiful this all white unit looks, it actually compliments my home quite well instead of looking like a mis-shaped R2D2 just hanging out in the corner. The unit has a light to communicate but you can also turn that off via the app and I personally do at night time so my room can be completely dark. Customer service has already been great and I haven't had any issues with my unit but they reached out to me via email after owning it for a couple weeks and asking how the unit is doing. I decided to write a review because I am genuinely pleased with my purchase.

After almost one year, got error message EC, which is not explained. It says to unplug and plug back in, which I did. But it kept happening. I called support after doing this a number of times and they said there was something wrong with the machine. It had started weeks before but we were away. It then turns out it was 2 weeks out of warranty, no matter that this had been happening for awhile. So™€¦this dehumidifier lasts only 1 year, then you™€™re on your own. Terrible customer service and stuck with a machine that is broken!

The wi-fi control is nice. I can use Home Assistant via Alexa to control humidity settings, such that it's not running while watching movies etc. Would be better if the hygrometer reading was also available as a sensor in the API. It works efficiently to reduce humidity. Mine failed after about 11 months, but they replaced it quickly.

Worked great for one month. Had trouble setting up wi-fi on android, but worked like a charm on iOS, and then I could use the android app. Then I got the EC error code (compressor leak) and have to get it replaced while the humidity rises in my basement for 7-10 days.
