Window kit which is necessary to keep out the hot air was missing from box. When I finally reached a customer agent, she said she would send it along with the hardware pack. The hardware pack arrived (no packing slip), but not the window kit the exhaust hose is engineered to attach to. The box alludes to it, and the enclosed manual states that it is included. Am I supposed to cut something out of cardboard to fill that space around the exhaust hose! I tried to get though several times today. Trying to get what I paid for already has been exasperating. I am no longer a Frigidaire fan.

I bought this unit just weeks ago and it has saved me. I can't deal with the heat and this ac kept my house a cool 69 degrees when it was 90 plus outside.

I'm so glad we bought this! It reliably cool our bedroom each night. I set the timer for it to come on at 8 and by the time we go to bed it's nice and cool. Then I set the timer to go off after we asleep. The only issue we had was that we have horizontal sliding windows and had to think creatively to get it set up but once done, it works great.

This AC works well and cools down my room without being too loud. I like how there are wheels on the bottom which makes it easy to transport. However, I wish the handles on the sides were deeper so that I could pick it up with my hands more securely. And I wish the opening for the exhaust hose was towards the top of the AC, rather than the bottom, so I could connect the exhaust pipe to a window without stretching the pipe.

I would have given 5 stars, however the exhaust adapter can only click into the frame one way. I ended up needing to elevate the air conditioner on a heavy duty shelving unit just so the exhaust could connect.

We've had some pretty hot and humid days the air conditioner has kept my big open room cool enough and dry. It runs pretty constantly and the fan is a little loud but not so loud that I can't conduct my business on-line. It's important to turn it before it gets too hot so it's not playing catch up. I've noticed on days when I've waited for it to feel "warm enough" to warrant AC that it doesn't cool the room down as well.

I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet my new portable AC is.It does a great job of keeping my whole apartment cool!When I bought this Air conditioner I didn™™t even look at any other brands because I know that Frigidaire has the best customer service of any of them. We bought this to cool our master bedroom, even though we have central air. We had to turn the central air down so low just to get the bedroom comfortable, while the rest of the house was freezing. The AC solved the problem. It quickly and efficiently cools the bedroom without having to overwork the central air. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars - is that it is a little bit noisy, however you quickly get used to it.We are sleeping much better with this unit. So glad we purchased it.

When our AC system quit on a Saturday morning of a long weekend and parts were not avabile till Wednesday I purchased this unit this unit to cool the main room of our house. We moved the ferrets into this room and the unit kept the wife and furkids comfortable until I could repair our system. It is a Great back up and worked as stated if not better.Thank you

I live in the PNW (Northwest) so only need ac limited times mostly just summer. So most homes here built have no AC or central air. This unit works absolutely perfect. Very quiet and for me not a lot humidity here so very very little water discharge. Keeps my place very comfortable on the hotter days.

I bought my Frigidaire AC when my home AC died. The AC technician could not get to is to install a new one for about two weeks. With it being in the 90s most days it was getting very hot in the house and it was hard to cool it down in the evenings even with the windows open so that we could sleep. Replaced the unit in our master bedroom and used it to cool the room and the connected bathroom to around 70 degrees. We were worried that with the exhaust going out the window too much sound would be coming in for us to sleep, but the unit makes enough noise to drowned out the cars that would pass by on the road it was a constant but somewhat soothing noise. Now we have our home unit fixed and set it on about 75 degrees but the room we continue to cool to 68 or 70 degrees with the unit because it uses less power the cool the house that way and still keep us comfortable for bed.

I purchased this unit for my Living Room and it™™s fantastic. I was concerned it wouldn™™t pull enough coldness due to the upstairs stairwell and 2 doorways leading from that room. I hung blackout lined curtains in each doorway to separate the rooms and the rest was history! Although on really hot& humid days you have to put it at its lowest 60 degrees to feel any air circulation.

Purchased for bedroom on April 2019. After using this summer as of August 2019, have learned proper positioning, as it is on wheels.is important.Opening on top, where cool air comes out , needs to be adusted according to your needs(whether you need a direct or indirect flow of air.A.C. unit does not in my opinion come with proper materials to seal units exhaust hose and parts that attach it to your window. Personally have no problem with water that is expended from unit into my drip container. The most i have seen is 4 or 5 ounces and that evaporates soon.

I brought this AC last summer and it worked great. However, I took it out of storage a few weeks back and in the same COOL mode, all I get is air coming out. It is no longer cold air. I have tried contacting the (800) 374 4432 number for the past few weeks to no avail. Please advise as to what I should be doing. Thank you.

I bought this a couple of days ago and the PI error code constantly lights up. The only way to run it on cool and have it work is to have the unit elevated and run the small clear hose into a bucket which it states it is NOT recommended to run the drain feature in continuous mode. It cools real good if you can keep the PI error code off. Thinking this needs to go back to Walmart.

This is our third summer with this AC, and it lowers the humidity and temperature well enough. We are using it between our living room and our dining room, and conducting the cold air to the living room using a stand fan. We found the exhaust hose very hot, so we wrapped it with 2 layers of aluminum foil, shiny side toward the hose, and it gives off barely any heat into the room. We bought a longer hose, which drains into the shower stall in a more distant room. Not beautiful, but it works, and we don't have to lift a heavy window unit into place any more. We store it in the same room over the cooler season, and it is quick and easy to set up.

I just purchased this unit and I love the fact that it keeps my living & dining rooms cool. I am having an issue with the draining of the water. I use a cup & tilt the unit to release the water. Overnight, it has ruined my dining room area rug. It was sopping wet! It's too much work!

Been having one for about 6 but used it for only about 4 months and have had constant battles with the P1 error , i drain the water thinking its gonna come pouring out and only a few droplets come out now its about 100+ outside in Texas and the P1 error is still persistent even after draining multiple timesWindow A/C is way better than this don't even bother.

When I run the unit on "cool" mode, the relative humidity has gone up to 68% in the room that it is in. 82-84 degrees and 68% relative humidity is not comfortable. The rest of the house gets extremely uncomfortable with now even higher humidity levels and temperatures in the 90s. If I run the unit on "dry" mode, this is a little better, however, it does not remove too much condensate. The exhaust duct and the plastic window insert is very low (cheap) quality. Those pieces are not insulated which means extra heat in the room. The plastic window insert does not fit well in my particular window at all.

I bought this two months ago and I™™ve been unhappy with it since I™™ve purchased it. It blows really nice cold air out of the unit, but the room doesn™™t cool down. Thermostat in ac set at 62 - but the room is still 70 plus degrees even when running all night. This was set up venting out of a window.

Easy to set up and it cools my kitchen in about 20 minutes. I liked it so much I purchased a second one for my bedroom. It has 3 cooling and fan modes, can easily be moved from one room to an other and is very quiet.
